Disa Primary stands as a symbol of hope and excellence in education. It is a place where children will learn to live a life of significance. Our central aim at Disa is to instill a belief in our learners and a quest for significance. We intend to mould people of character, competence and caring.

"I am the product of Africa and her long-cherished dream of a rebirth that can now be realised so that all of our children may play in the sun."

Who we are

Disa Primary is the realisation of a vision by Andreas & Susan Strüngmann in partnership with the Western Cape Department of Education to educate and shape the lives of the children in the greater Hout Bay area.

What we do

Disa Primary School, which supports the communities of Imizamo Yethu and Hangberg, is a striking, modern, red building, nestled against the Constantiaberg amid a deep green enclave of conifers.
